What kind of game is GridIdle?
An idle strategy game about arranging a small production machine. Your cores earn Units automatically. You decide where to place them, what to upgrade, and when to start a stronger cycle.
Do I need an account or a download?
Neither. Play for free in your browser, on desktop or mobile. Progress saves automatically on this device in this browser. It does not sync between devices, and clearing website data removes your save.
Does my grid keep earning when I leave?
Yes. Your machine earns offline for up to 24 hours at first, increasing to 72 hours once you reach a 6 × 6 grid. Come back, spend your Units, and try your next idea.
Can I experiment without losing progress?
Moving cores and changing unlocked roles is free. Preview an arrangement before applying it; your current layout keeps producing while you experiment. Prestige is a separate, deliberate reset that earns permanent bonuses.
